All students are encouraged to register online, remotely. This is in line with the Department of Higher Education and Training. It is also in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols, as well as the Alert Level 3 Lockdown restrictions.

The college has provided limited access to students who are struggling to register remotely, to our resource centres at our various campuses. The no mask, no entry policy, as well as other COVID-19 related restrictions will apply.

All students must submit or have the following available on registration:

An original / a certified copy of the latest school report / Senior Certificate or highest certificate or results.
An original / a certified copy of the identity document / affidavit and photograph in case of no/lost identity document / birth certificate.
Proof of residential address and relevant contact details.

  • Be a SA Citizen.
  • Register at any of the 50 TVET College.
  • Combined household income must not exceed R350 000 per annum.
  • Combined household income with disability must not exceed R600 000 per annum.
  • Copy of South African birth certificate (preferably unabridged) or ID which must be recently certified.
  • Copy of parents and/or guardian’s ID (or death certificate if applicable) which must be recently certified.
  • Copy of proof of income such as pay advice, letter of employment, pension advice, or SASSA letter. These documents must be recently certified.
  • Completed and signed application form, Completed and signed consent form.
  • For orphans or students with a disability – a completed and signed Annexure A or Orphan Declaration Form as provided.

The following semester results were received:

  • Business Studies
  • Clothing production
  • Hospitality
  • Tourism

The results for trimester 2, 2020 and NCV 2020 will only be available during the period of 27 January 2021 until 5 February 2021

An SMS will be sent to the student with the status of their application

NATED:

If a student passes 3 of 4 subjects and fails 1, NSFAS will still fund the student.

However, the student must pay the class fees for the failed subjects and they must repeat the subject.
If a student fails more than 1 subject, NSFAS will no longer fund the student.

NCV:
If a student passes 5 of 7 subjects and fails 2, NSFAS will still fund the student.

However, the student must pay the class fees for the failed subjects and they must repeat the subject.
If a student fails more than 2 subjects, NSFAS will no longer fund the student.

Yes, you need have valid study permits until the end of the relevant study period.

 

Yes, you may, the process is as follows:

Use your student number received during your first application
Click on the link for returning students
Complete your application on the academic application link for the new course that you would like to enrol for.

Register as new student and provide your certified results from the previous institution or college.
