The purpose pf marketing is to identify and satisfy customer needs. It consists of tasks and decisions aimed at distributing goods and services to consumers so that the objectives of the business, consumer and society are achieved
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1.1 Any of the following NV (V) L4 Certificates:
Education and Development
Finance, Economics and Accounting
Information Technology
Management
Marketing
Office Administration
1.2 Equivalent NQF Level 4 occupational qualification; or an
1.3 APS score of 24, using double the English the four (4) next best subjects of NSC.
COURSE DURATION
How long will it take to complete the qualification?
6 months per level full-time (3 semesters to complete up to N6 level)
18 months practical experience

They need to be good listeners, be able to understand other people’s point of view without losing sight of original objective. Numeracy is a fundamental requirement as they use figures to analyse sales and market research data in planning and pricing. It also an advantage to be creative, enthusiastic, pay attention to detail and have sound judgement in order to initiate and carry out specific projects.
